Pimm’s Cup: The perfect daytime cocktail.
I’ve never watched a tennis match in my life, but I deeply respect any sport that has a signature cocktail. We recently tried three different recipes for Pimm’s Cups to find our favorite: Wimbledon’s classic, Bon Appetit’s, featuring ginger beer, and a version from The New York Times with Pimm’s No. 1 and Beefeater Gin
The classic Wimbledon recipe was our favorite by far and has become our go-to cocktail for day-drinking affairs. They’re light enough to sip all afternoon without making you sleepy, and you can easily make a stronger version by adding an ounce of vodka or gin.
Whether you’re planning a weekend brunch or daytime wedding, I highly recommend adding Pimm’s Cup to your menu.
