Finish off your leftovers with this simple Thanksgiving sandwich.
When I visited Dublin as an exchange student, Thanksgiving sandwiches were on every pub menu – turkey, stuffing, mayo, and raw red onion on white toast. Our family added the gravy element because everything is better dipped in gravy. Especially my husband’s gravy.
INGREDIENTS
2 slices white or brioche bread, lightly toasted
turkey
stuffing
red onion, thinly sliced
mayonnaise
gravy
INSTRUCTIONS
Reheat turkey, stuffing, and gravy.
On one slice of toast, spread a thin layer of stuffing. On the other, mayo topped with a thin layer of red onion. Add turkey, slice sandwich in half, and dip in gravy.
