Decor inspo from our recent sneak peek of the nursery Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews created for their baby girl.

As a Kansas City Native, it’s impossible to avoid the obsession with Mahomes and his fiance, Brittany Matthews. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Matthews, a personal trainer and former pro soccer player, is expecting her first child with the NFL superstar and recently gave a peek of their baby girl’s nursery on Instagram. This week, we’re swapping the usual Superbowl snack roundup for a gallery of nursery inspiration, inspired by the KC couple’s serene decor.

Jessica Butler is the co-founder of Raise, stepmother of two, and adoptive mother of one. Prior to Raise, she was a writer on USA’s "In Plain Sight" and TNT’s "The Last Ship." She and her husband, writer/producer Warren Bell, co-created the Nick at Nite series "Instant Mom," based on her life as a stepmother. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and six-year-old son, Levon.
