From tiny toys to the perfect travel pillow, everything you need for a stress-free toddler trip.
Since everyone seems to be squeezing in last minute summer vacations or planning quick Labor Day getaways (me!), I thought it would be the prefect time to share my favorite travel gear for kids. Do you have additional recommendations? Share with us in the comments!
TRTL TRAVEL PILLOW JUNIOR
The BEST travel pillow for kids. (Warren and I LOVE the adult version for ourselves.) Traditional travel pillows don't fit Levon, but he used this one on our vacation to New York and England and it was perfect. Plus, it's great for car seat naps!

TECH21 EVO PLAY iPAD CASE
It's not just about protecting your own iPad. When Levon was three years old, he was playing with another toddler and dropped my iPad on top of hers, shattering her screen. It was around Christmas, and her family had been delayed in Burbank airport for HOURS. And they still had hours to go. Trust me, a cushioned iPad cover is a must if your little one is traveling with a screen.

SKULLCANDY CRUSHER HEADPHONES
We've owned every kind of headphone set -- high-end, low-end, earbuds, noise cancelling, wireless -- and these are by far my favorite, both for myself and my kids. I even used them on set in my writer/producer days. Ours are old-school with cords because we've had them forever, but Skullcandy now makes wireless sets, as well as noise cancelling, on-ear, and over-ear models. I highly recommend over-ear for little ones. They're super comfortable, block out noise, and don't slide off tiny heads. Did I mention they fold and take up NO SPACE in your bag?! And they last forever. We have sets that are 10 years old and still sound crystal clear.
Available on amazon.com and skullcandy.com.
KIDS' SKELETON BACKPACK - Cat & Jack™
Levon is happy to carry his own bag, as long as it's not falling off of his back. Make sure your little one has a backpack that fits. Otherwise, they're definitely going to ask you to carry it. Toddler-sized bags are available everywhere now, but this is Levon's current favorite.
